Gail & Veronica: A Perfect Match (G&V)

Gail and Veronica’s story began in Alaska in 1993, brought together by their shared passion for travel and adventure. Gail, born and raised in the charming small town of Enterprise, Oregon, and Veronica, hailing from the vibrant port city of Puerto Montt, Chile, may have grown up worlds apart, but their adventurous spirits were kindred. Both were driven by a deep desire to explore new places, connect with diverse people, and truly immerse themselves in the soul of every destination.

After seven unforgettable years in Alaska, they made the decision to settle in Puerto Montt in 2000—a move that marked the beginning of a new chapter. In this picturesque port city, they built a life together, raising their two daughters, Annie and Victoria, and embracing the richness of their surroundings.

It wasn’t long after moving to Chile that Gail and Veronica realized they didn’t have to venture far to meet fascinating people, create adventures, or share meaningful experiences. They discovered that by helping others experience the beauty and culture of their own backyard, they could ignite the same sense of wonder they cherished in their travels. With this dream in mind, GV Tours was born in 2000, blending their initials, their passions, and their purpose.

Today, GV Tours stands as a testament to Gail and Veronica’s belief that life’s greatest adventures often begin right where you are—welcoming the world to create unforgettable memories in Puerto Montt and beyond.
